A New Mets Pop-up Experience Is Opening In Nyc In Union Square This Week

New York Mets fans, unite!
The team is opening its first-ever pop-up experience, aptly dubbed Mets House, this Friday, March 7 smack-dab in the middle of Union Square at 1 Union Square West. Debuting ahead of the start of the 2025 season, the destination will be open Tuesdays through Sundays for the foreseeable future.
Basically giving fans the chance to interact with their team outside of the ballpark, the Mets House will be home to a slew of different activities, interactive experiences and, of course, exclusive merchandise shopping opportunities.
“We often hear from our fans that they are looking for new ways to support the team outside of Citi Field and opening Mets House is the perfect way to make that happen,” said Mets President of Business Operations M. Scott Havens in an official statement. “Mets House is more than just a pop-up shop—it provides our fans with unique experiences that will change throughout the duration of the activation. It’s also a way for us to reach new fans and get them excited to check out a game at Citi Field.”
During the grand opening weekend, expect appearances from Mr. and Mrs. Met, live DJ sets and Kids Sunday, when the little ones will be able to get their faces painted to show off their team spirit.
Each week, new programs will take over the space, from on-site games to auction-like events and more.
One more thing: folks who visit the destination will be able to make use of in-store only deals on regular season tickets.
Basically, the pop-up will be a grand Mets extravaganza sure to delight all types of baseball fans.
