For Those Who Are Successful Entrepreneur’s What Age Group Did You Really Find Success? & Advice For Me / Self Reflection Of My 20s

Turning 30 in a couple of days and have been doing a lot of reflecting on where I’m at in life. I can’t help but feel I’m capable of a lot more but scared I’ll never get that push to really take things to the next level.
I’ll give some background. Since i was young i always have been someone who questions everything & the traditional way of doing things. I learned a home service trade when i was 17-18 and had started by own business buy age 21. Im very good at marketing and understanding people’s thought process so i was quickly able to get a ton of leads. I lucked out big time by Having the right people in place the help me with handling the work load I now had. I really had no good understanding of business or how to run one at this point, just a good marketing strategy and luck with having the right people to help me out.
By age 22 I took my father’s life advice. I took a civil service job being a police officer. Which at the time with my general understanding of how to run a business and lack of experience in the trade I’m in, probably wasn’t the worse idea.. as betting on the business for long term success was questionable at this point.
I would go on to try and run the businesses & work a very demanding job for the next 5.5 years. During this time I grew a lot mentally, learned a lot of life / people skills and continued to learn how to operate a business.
Being extremely unhappy with where I was at, I tried everything I can to try and have a more comfortable transition out of my job into running my business full time. I learned everything I can about business, the stock market & tried to get involved in real estate. I was able to purchase a few rentals out of state that turned out to be more of a headache than anything. I ultimately ended up selling them for pretty much what I paid but learned a lot from the experiences. I currently am “house hacking” and taking a different approach to real estate investments than I did originally.
It eventually got to the point where I was so miserable working my job & business had continue to grow year after year that I was ready to make a bet on myself and left my police job.
2.5 years later and business is doing great. I was able to take sales to the next level each year putting 100% of my effort in. I don’t regret staying (although the stress of that job likely took years off my life) but after 5 years you become vested into the pension system and get retired ID credentials which I always felt could help me with future endeavors if ever need be.
That brings up current day and just thinking about all that happened in my 20’s and everything learned, how I can apply this towards really setting up a nice rest of my life in my 30s. I can continue and try build my business, but also feel like I can get started in just about any home service based business and succeed. With my knowledge and interest in real estate I also believe there is an avenue there for me as well. I feel like I’m at a crossroad with so many paths and not sure which road to take.
