I’m Having Trouble Thinking About Business Ideas

I’m involved in two niches that are highly regulated.. sometimes I think about ideas but my ideas usually fall in the categories of..

1) this is a somewhat common idea and there are a good amount of people already doing it.

Or

2) this is an extremely difficult problem to solve and requires tens of millions in capital/a huge team of experts.

Very rarely do I find the “perfect idea” right between both of these, with just the right amount of complexity (but not overly) and not so easy that many are doing it.

Is there some sort of framework people follow to come up with a business idea?

Sometimes I wonder whether I should just start.. regardless of whether it’s easy or difficult, just to DO something instead of thinking/brainstorming..

I feel like I need to become better at strategizing ideas, but not sure if there’s a good recipe for finding weak spots in certain industries, or identifying something people want that still hasn’t been made..
