Is This A Good Idea Or A Bad Idea? Would You Pay For This Service?

I've been brainstorming business ideas and wanted to get some unfiltered opinions from this community.

One recurring issue I've noticed after living in apartments for years is the hassle of hauling groceries, especially to upper floors. While some apartments provide grocery carts in shared spaces, they often go missing or aren’t returned properly, leaving residents frustrated.

Here's my idea: A shopping cart system specifically for apartment residents. Each unit gets an assigned checkout code to access the carts, making it easy to track and ensure they’re returned. The service could operate on a monthly subscription or pay-per-use basis. For those who don’t want to purchase their own cart, this could be a convenient, community-focused solution.

I know grocery carts are affordable to buy online (typically under $100), but not everyone takes that step, and having shared carts might appeal to people who value convenience over ownership.

Would this be something you'd pay for? Do you see any potential issues or suggestions to make it better?

Honest feedback is super appreciated!
