Mafs Groom ‘axed From Job As Primary School Teacher’ After Fat Shaming Bride On Tv

A MARRIED At First Sight groom has been “axed from his job as a primary school teacher”, as the backlash surrounding his behaviour rages on.
Fans watched in horror as one of the MAFS husbands fat-shamed his new wife, and was also accused of “gaslighting”.

During the course of their very short relationship he criticised her appearance, saying he preferred more “petite women” – with fans slamming him for “fat shamming”.
The backlash he received from viewers has now reportedly cost him his career.
One of his groomsmen, Luke Stapleton, has told the So Dramatic! podcast, that Tim’s involvement in MAFS resulted in “him losing his job as a teacher”.
“Where he was working was already concerned [about Tim’s MAFS appearance prior to filming],” he revealed.
Following the backlash, Tim has since deleted social media, allegedly out of fear of his “edit“, and he is yet to confirm whether he will return to his job as a primary school teacher.
GROOM BACKLASH
Despite the bride’s best efforts, straight after they had said “I do”, unbeknownst to her, her groom stormed off.
He was then seen shouting at producers, claiming Katie was “not what he asked for”.
Tim was heard venting: “Katie’s nothing what I normally go for… I’m a bit embarrassed that I’ve come here now. I don’t want to be here.”
But the producers were heard telling him to “give the marriage a chance”.
On the wedding night, Katie was left in tears as Tim revealed he didn’t have an immediate spark for her.
If this wasn’t bad enough, on their honeymoon he then went into detail about how she he was “physically” not his type, as he prefers “petite blondes and brunettes”.
They then spent time apart before being reunited in awkward scenes at the first dinner party.
Tim was accused of ‘gaslighting’ Katie after claiming he was making the most effort, which saw her apologise to him before he left the party after being grilled by other brides.

Fans at home flooded social media with their reactions, as one wrote: “The saddest thing about the Katie & Tim situation is the woman isn’t chosen but is always willing to keep giving him a chance. Girl know your worth & tell him to f*** off.”
A second fumed: “Tim is selfish and embarrassed of his manipulative nasty condescending behaviour towards Katie and that is why he would rather hide. They need to get Katie a new husband!”
“So Tim couldn’t handle the questions and the challenge from Jamie and has scuttled off home. What a coward. They need to get Katie a new groom, preferably one who isn’t a gaslighting PoS.”
