What Skills Should I Try To Utilize To Build A Business?

Hey everyone. Currently working as a full-time RF/electrical engineer. I am trying to think of business ideas that could build into enough revenue to at least cover my own costs of living. I have two ideas that could motivate me - 1) making a video game or 2) inventing some electrical hardware. Since I'm already a competent EE, and I know how to design many different types of electrical hardware - including complex RF or analog circuits. I also like the idea of writing a video game though, and programming is another skill that I have. A software project doesn't require me to manage manufacturing/shipping or purchase a bunch of test equipment - so it is an attractive option because it only relies on my work ethic and perseverance. The main concern I have is with over saturation. My thinking is that I have these more rare electrical/RF skills, so I may as well use them so I'm competing with fewer people. A counterpoint thought however is how famously difficult it is to make money with electrical hardware. Video games are a very saturated market, so perhaps it is more difficult to make money there. What would your recommendations be?

Thanks for the help.
