Just a year after they first met each other, Gomez and Swift had already become the closest friends. Gomez sat down for a chat with Seventeen in 2009, where she disclosed that Swift was the one she turned to for love advice. She stated that the “Lover” singer could heal any of her problems.

In 2011, Swift and Gomez didn’t shy away from showcasing their bond to the world.
