Last but certainly not least is “Daydream” by Hannah Grace. After Halle’s long-term relationship comes to end, she struggles to find her footing. At the same time, Henry, who was recently burdened with the unwanted title of hockey team captain, is struggling to keep his grades up. While browsing through a bookstore, he accidentally crashes Halle’s book club. With academics being Halle’s strong suit, she agrees to help Henry after he confides in her about his struggles. In return, Henry offers to give Halle experiences she’s never had before. As time goes on, their relationship grows beyond mere mutual assistance.

“When you go through tough situations, you want someone to be kind, patient and understanding with you, and that’s exactly what happens,” Romano said.
