Fall Detection & Automatic Alert For 92 Yr Old Grandma

Hi all! I’m looking up medical alert systems and seeing a lot of people advocating for the apple watch. Our only worry is that it will be too confusing for her - she can text/call but that’s about it when it comes to technology. I’m thinking I’d delete all apps and essentially make it a basic watch with fall detection. She still drives, works in her garden, and is go go go.

If we went with apple watch would she be good with a series 8? or need a series 9? How accurate have you noticed the fall detection to be?

I know my watch gives me false falls sometimes - which worries me that she might not notice the little vibrate and get flustered if it starts alarming. But I’m pretty sure she’d be able to hit the little “X” but it is realllly small - Apple watch also seems like the best price over time?
