Musk And Trump Jr. Laugh At Zelensky ‘home Alone’ Meme
The businessmen reacted to a post depicting the Ukrainian leader as Kevin from the comedy movie
Elon Musk and Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of US President-elect
Donald Trump, have reacted with humor to a meme on X in which Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky is compared to ‘Home Alone’ character Kevin McAllister.
The meme shows the famous scene from ‘Home Alone 2’ where Kevin, played by Macaulay Culkin, meets Donald Trump at the Plaza Hotel in New York, which the US president-elect owned at the time.
The top half of the meme depicts the shot where Trump, who made a brief cameo in the 1992 comedy, gives Kevin directions to the lobby. The bottom half, however, features a photograph from a recent meeting between Trump and Zelensky, where the latter is photo-edited to wear a hat similar to Kevin’s in the movie.
Trump Jr. re-posted the picture to X on Tuesday with laughing emojis, prompting a similar response from Musk.
Trump met the Ukrainian leader during his weekend visit to Paris, where the incoming US president attended the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral. A trilateral meeting between Trump, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Zelensky took place shortly after the reopening ceremony.

According to media reports, the US president-elect had initially been “reluctant” to meet with Zelensky and only made the decision to go ahead with the encounter at the last moment.
After the meeting, which reportedly lasted about 45 minutes and was focused on the Ukraine conflict and “common action for peace and security,” Trump adviser Roger Stone criticized Zelensky for the clothing he wore at the gathering.
While both Macron and Trump were dressed in formal suits, Zelensky wore a black sweatshirt with the emblem of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, slacks, a military-style jacket, and brown combat boots.
Last month, Musk mocked Zelensky’s “amazing” sense of humor after the Ukrainian leader claimed in a radio interview that his country is “independent” and cannot be forced to the negotiating table by the US.
The Ukrainian government has relied on foreign aid since 2022 to keep agencies open and employees paid, and the country’s military is almost entirely dependent on foreign financing.
