Kevin Kisner will serve as the full-time lead analyst for NBC, per a Sports Business Journal report.
Get ready to see and hear more of Kevin Kisner at some of the biggest events in all of golf.
NBC Sports has announced that Kisner will serve as its lead golf analyst for the 2025 season, according to Josh Carpenter of Sports Business Journal. His broadcasting debut came at the beginning of the 2024 season, when NBC decided to rotate analysts, which included Curt Byrum, Brandel Chamblee, Paul McGinley, and Luke Donald. But the network settled on Kisner, who has an easy-going charm and a terrific sense of humor that can relate to a diverse audience.
A four-time PGA Tour winner, Kisner will turn 41 in February and sit alongside Dan Hicks in the booth at the Players Championship, U.S. Open, and The Open. The other big golf production that NBC owns the rights to is the Ryder Cup, but Kisner could very well serve as one of Keegan Bradley’s assistants. He was one of Jim Furyk’s vice-captains at this year’s Presidents Cup in Royal Montreal, thus setting the stage for Kisner to help in a similar capacity at Bethpage Black.
Should he do so, his responsibilities will tie him to the locker room, not the broadcast booth. But if Bradley goes in a different direction, expect to see Kisner alongside Hicks once more on Long Island.
Nevertheless, golf fans should not expect to see Kisner every week. He will still compete on tour in a limited capacity, although his specific schedule remains unclear. Kisner is also a member of Tiger Woods’ TGL team, Jupiter Links, and will play in the tech-infused league from January through April. He will have one busy 2025 season.
