New Artwork And Album Title May Have Leaked For Upcoming Album From A Day To Remember

Is metalcore/pop-punk hybrid band A Day to Remember gearing up to announce a new album for tomorrow? A new album cover has started circulating on social media for an album rumored to be announced tomorrow called Big Ole Album. Some have even gone so far as to claim that the first two singles, entitled “LeBron” and “Make It Make Sense” are to be released with the album announcement, and at last one account on Twitter is posting a supposed track listing for the new album. But there has yet to be any official word from A Day to Remember verifying or denying the authenticity of any of this.

The timing would work out, with ADTR’s last album, You’re Welcome, having come out in 2021 and the band keeping up a pattern of usually releasing a new album every 2-4 years. The artwork that’s circulating could easily have been fan-made, but it does sort of fit within a pop-punk-meets-metalcore sense of humor, pulling from the artistic styles you might see in the poster for early National Lampoon films like Animal House or Movie Madness. Even the post-modern hipster irony of naming a single “LeBron” seems to make sense, all things considered.

Some are saying that, even with the album being announced tomorrow, the whole thing will be out by Friday. In fact, Finnish website Record Shop X is already taking pre-orders for the album and list the release date as February 21. There are listings for the album on eBay already, as well. All of the listings call it Big Ole Album Vol 1, which could indicate that it’s the first part of a double album or the “Vol 1” part could be completely bullshit. We’ll see what the band says tomorrow.
