(louisiana) I Scratched A Car In A Campus Parking Garage And Panicked So I Didn't Leave My Info And Went To Class. I Want To Report The Incident To The Parking Garage Now That I've Had A Chance To Calm Down. Will I Face Legal Consequences?

I was running late for class and trying to park in an awkward spot in the parking garage. The car in the parking spot to the left was a little too far over (but still in between the lines) so I was trying to compensate for that and accidentally scratched the car in the parking spot to the right. I panicked because I was running late, just caused an accident, and there was people waiting behind me. So I parked on a different floor and went to class. I didn't get the other cars license plate or make and model, I just know its a darker colored SUV. Now I've calmed down a little bit (though I still feel like I'm about to have a little bit of a breakdown) and I want to leave my info on the car. However, if it isn't there anymore I was going to report the accident to the school. Will I face hit and run charges if I report it too late?
