[ny] Pip And Then Came An Audit

Hello,

So my employer placed me on a PIP beginning of this month, and said that the PIP triggered an expense audit. They are looking for EZ pass specifically; for the past 6 years of employment I have only inputted the replenishment amount. All of a sudden they want an itemized version of each toll, but my personal travel and personal replenishment is also on there, along with that it is my mothers account that I have been using since it’s a long process to open an EZ pass. What are my options? Any privacy laws against this? The expenses are always a 2 step approval process (supervisor and finance department) and I submit the replacement amount receipt.
