(oregon) Some Major Remodeling Is Being Done On The Kitchen Of The Apartment I'm Renting Due To Water Damage, And We Won't Have A Kitchen For Probably Over A Month. Should I Request Discounted/free Rent For The Span Of The Remodel?

Title says it all, the landlords are super friendly and have been in full communication about the whole thing, letting us know daily about visits from workers and everything they know about what's going on. (These are private owners with a quadplex, not an apartment complex) They've had the workers move the fridge into the living room and overnighted us an electric stovetop to use in the meantime, but I just found out the insurance company is going to take 3 to 5 weeks to even respond regarding the claim. Because our kitchen is going to be completely unusable for such a long span of time I was going to negotiate some reduced rent for the span of the project. I'm just curious what the state (and city? If applicable I can provide that as well) laws may say regarding the situation. I was googling for it but didn't see anything super helpful. Is there a good website where I can read up on all this, and possibly have to back any claims I make about requirements before going in to negotiate with them.
