(us: California) Concerns Over Strict Landlords, Need Advice

Hey everyone. Two days ago, I moved to a new house. It’s a rented room situation, and I’m renting a room in the same house the landlords live in. This morning, they send the a text that was pretty jarring to me:

“Hey OP. I just wanted to mention a few things. First is just a reminder that quiet hours are between 1030pm-7am so if possible please refrain from showering, coming and going from the house, cooking, stuff like that. We share a wall with the bathroom so it wakes us up every-time it's used past 10-1030pm.”

Absolutely none of these rules were disclosed to me before moving in. In addition, they are not on the lease at all. What should I do?
