Advice Please: Victim To Narcissist, He Was Arrested And Now I Need To Prove My Innocence

Card image cap

I (25F) have been with the father of my child (39M) for just about 5 years. Our son is 3 years old. He told me when we met that he had a trucking company, and I never questioned it. He has been the sole provider for my son and I. It was a very toxic relationship and he is a narcissist, but I haven’t had the means to get out and be independent on my own. We do not live together, he lives in an apartment five minutes away. My mom does live with me, but she has her own income.

A few days ago, detectives raided my house while he was over visiting our son. They took us both in at the same time, and then they proceeded to interrogate me for 5 hours. I know absolutely nothing and all I did was try to prove my innocence. I literally don't know what's going on at all, and they won’t tell me anything. The only thing they have on me is that I was his girlfriend, so they have me down as a conspiracy. I got transferred to a local prison, and was bailed out the same night with no down payment towards my bail, but I got out the next day because apparently their system went down as soon as I got there. The judge told me that I have several release conditions. My preliminary hearing is coming up. Does anyone know what I can expect? This has been so traumatic and I never expected anything like this to ever happen to me. I'm obviously a victim in this situation, he used me and I feel betrayed and completely lost.
