Baseball Cards Stolen By Cleaning Guy
Baseball cards stolen by cleaning guy
I went to look at a few baseball cars today since Dave Parker’s hall of fame election, and realized some very valuable cards were stolen (a rookie Ricky Henderson).
I’m almost positive my cleaning person did it. I’m not 100%sure only because my memory isn’t perfect, and they could be somewhere else.
But, I’m 99% sure. I have cards in various boxes. But, I kept my few most valuable ones in a small box and the box is noticeably emptied of probably around 6 of around 12 cards. I honestly don’t recall all that was in there. But, there were 2 Henderson rookies in containers. What else do s missing I can’t remember right now.
I’m nauseous. This was a connection to my recently passed dad. This guy has worked for me for 5 years. These cards are the only thing of value in the whole apartment. He’s frequently asked for keys because it would often be more convenient if I were to let him in. But, I’d never given them to him because of the cards. However, I have let him in about 3 times when I wasn’t there and he let himself out (I got home an hour or two later).
I guess I have no absolute proof he did this, or even record that these cards exist.
Does anyone have any advice. Yeah, I should never have left him here alone. Again, I’ve known him for years and considered him a friend.
