Being Sued For $1 Million—need Legal Advice (sports Injury Liability)

Hey everyone,
I’m in a tough spot and need some legal advice. I run a sports program where all participants must sign liability waivers before taking part. One participant, who signed the waiver, suffered a concussion during an activity. This particular activity was outside of practice, meaning it may not be covered by the waiver. Later, I found out they had a history of multiple concussions, which they never disclosed to us.
Despite their injury, they continued to participate in other high-risk sports that could have caused further harm. Now, they’re suing me and the program for $1 million. I’m not sure what to do—should I be worried that the waiver won’t protect us? How do I handle this?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
