Boss Wants To No Call No Show On A Shift That Doesn't Even Exist Yet
I took off two days in January OVER a month in advance to which my supervisor declined. I informed her I will not be able to work those days even though I typically do. She is threatening to say it's a no call no show when I haven't even been scheduled for any time in January yet and I had already notified her of taking the days off. If I remember correctly our employee handbook only specificed penalties for not showing up to a shift in which you are already scheduled but I am not scheduled and told her I won't be able to make it. What should I do? Am I somehow in the wrong?
