Bought A Car. Had A Deal. Now Dealership Wants Credit Unfrozen 5 Days Later. California.
I bought a car on the weekend. At 8% APR. Signed a deal. Drove the car home.
Monday comes around, I ask the dealership for the bank that provided the loan. He said he'd send it over later in the day. At this point I froze my credit because everything was supposed to be squared away.
Turns out, they had never approved me. They only got approvals at 10%+. Now, they want to keep running my credit to find the promised 8% APR.
This is very annoying, I haven't unfrozen my credit. In my state , the dealership can ask for the car back within 10 days of sale.
They haven't asked for the car back yet. I frankly want them to take the car back because they flat out lied to me about the financing being secured. This makes me question the integrity of the car overall.
Would they have a case for suing me for not unfreezing my credit ?
