Bought A Mobile Home And Landlord Is Upset That I Moved It.

Card image cap

I bought a mobile home in Texas that was sitting on private property in a small cul-de-sac. I tried to get the landlord's number to notify her, however the previous home owner told me not to worry about it and that she was notified. Ok so I hired a company to move it, and they jumped the gun and showed up a couple days early when it was slightly drizzling. I was not aware that the company was there until they called me and told me the house was broken down and ready to travel. While I was on the phone with the movers, the landlord came out and took the movers phone and told me she doesn't allow homes to be moved while the ground is wet. I was not aware of this, and she is now threatening me with legal action citing that they may have damaged sewer pipes or other things. I understand that threats don't always hold weight but I'm just trying to figure out what I can do or need to do in the event that she does sue. I gave her my name, number, and address but told her her issue would be with the lease owner, not me. I'm not sure what kind of lease they had though. Would I be responsible?

Edit: spelling mistakes
