Bringing Someone Else’s Prescription Across Can / Us Border?

My 70 year old Canadian snowbird parents are driving across the border to Florida next week. My 80 year old aunt who is already in Florida wants my parents to bring one of her sleep med prescriptions with them to her.
She didn’t tell my parents that it’s Trazadone which I believe is schedule 2? My parents didn’t think to question it as they know nothing about drugs and just thought they were innocent sleep meds.
My parents bringing a 100 day supply of Trazadone over the border, for a relative, is illegal right?
Is there something a doctor may have signed or something to allow this? I want to make sure I’m not missing something before telling them how dumb this is. Especially with everything going on about drugs going over the border / tariffs
