Broken Hot Water System For 3+ Months In My Building

Located in Seattle, WA. Building is owned by a leasing company with multiple large apartment complexes.
My building has had hot water issues since November 1. Theres 150~ studio and 1br apartments. It’s a new building so as more people moved in, it got worse. Hot water was spotty and at least one day out of the week there was none. As time has gone on it’s gotten worse. Beginning of January was the worst when there were 2 consecutive weeks of no hot water.
They’re working on it now, starting mid January but it’s been 3 weeks and the situation hasn’t gotten better. Getting hot water 3/7 days a week, and I know people on higher floors have it way worse.
Is there any legal recourse for this? I'd like to initiate a suit for breach of contract. Our rent payments have stayed the same and we’re still getting charged for utilities as if nothing was wrong. We all pay 2k a month for these apartments with showers we can’t use. Most people have to shower at they jobs/friends homes etc.
