Can I Attend A Criminal Trial For A Person I Have A Restraining Order Against?

Card image cap

I was granted a permanent civil restraining order against someone. They have purposely and repeatedly violated the RO, but the police have refused to execute the orders of the RO (arrest them).

Today I learned via public records the restrained party has an upcoming criminal trial as they’re being prosecuted by the state for violating another restraining order against them.

If this trial is open to the public, am I allowed to observe as a spectator? My RO does not have any restrictions for me against the restricted party, only visa-versa.
