Can I Disinherit Myself?

Card image cap

So my dad is just a real piece of shit and since I moved far away from him and found some success in my own life he likes to check in every once in a while and remind me that he's not leaving me anything when he dies.

I don't want anything from him, and I'm just entirely fed up with his childish taunting. He always says "You only say you don't want anything because you know you won't get it."

I would like to have a legal document, which I would sign, stating that he is legally no longer my father. So I guess a reverse-disinheritance. I'm in my 30s so it wouldn't be emancipation.

Is the best route just a restraining order?

I can just block his number and never contact him again, sure. But I want him to receive an official statement in the mail. It's petty. I know. But that's where I'm at.

TIA!
