Can I File For A Protective Order? Neighbor Making Unwanted Sexual Advances, And Verbally Sexually Harrasing Me.

While waiting for my daughter to join me in the car, I was parked in our driveway in my Miata, with the top down.

A neighbor that we have been friendly with for about five years, an older man, probably late 70s, drove by our home as he frequently does on the way to his home, or sometimes he parks in front of our home, and walks his dog on a path nearby.

But yesterday, this man slows to a stop in front of my driveway, and we waved to each other like normal, but then he said, "I'll kiss your tits anytime." I initially didn't hear him, so I said, "what was that?," to which he replied, "you heard me." I actually hadn't, so I said, exactly that, so he repeated it - "l'll kiss your tits anytime."

I was so shocked and taken aback, and my jaw dropped and I was like, "OH! Oh! Um, Oh!" and then he drove off, and went home, I presume.

This clearly impulsive and verbally abusive behavior is new and unexpected, but what I'd really like to have happen is that he be prevented from parking in front of our home to walk his dog, and I'd like him to be required to stay a certain distance from myself and my family.

Is there grounds for a police complaint followed by a restraining/protective order?
