Can I Get A Lawyer To Write A Letter For With Their Official Letter Head.

I’m interested in buying a piece of a larger tract of land that borders my property line. I’ve tried reaching out to the owner by knocking on the door and asking around for their phone number but have been unable to contact them. I decided the next step would be to send a letter. I was telling a good friend of mine about the situation and he is a lawyer (1 year out of law school working under a very experienced lawyer) and he offered to revise the letter and put his letter head on it. It sounds like a great idea to letting the property owner know i am serious and just have a better chance of him actually reading the letter but my concern would be if this violates anything my young lawyer friend might not know about due to his lack of experience. The letter is not an official offer letter. Just a letter explaining who i am and what I’m interested in doing as well as asking if the property owner would be open to negotiating.
