Can I Sue An Auto Mechanic Who Keeps Misdiagnosing My Issue?

My car wouldn’t start so I brought it to a local mechanic to have the issue diagnosed & fixed... the first time I was told the alternator was the issue, even after letting them know I already had it tested a few days earlier (AutoZone said the alternator was fine).

A few days after they changed the alternator, the car didn’t start again.. I bring it back for them to correct their mistake. This time they convince me it was the fuse box that needed to be changed.. I unfortunately trusted their judgement.

After they changed the fuse box, the car didn’t even start for me to leave their shop.. they tried to jump the car & hand it right back to me (exact same issue obviously never addressed). They put a new battery in the car (which I of course paid for) & I left assuming this issue was fixed.

Today, about a week later, my car isn’t starting. This place has charged me $1,000+ & I have the exact same issue :)

Are there grounds to sue?
