Can I Sue Bank For Rescinding Offer

I was offered employment by PNC and I just received an email saying the offer was rescinded due to an 9 year old retail theft charge that came up on my finger prints. Some insights
- I am a black man and I was falsely arrested over petty theft, I literally didn’t do it.(Happened in a top 10 most racist city in America)
-That was my first and only time in my life ever dealing with the law. Minus that, there isn’t anything on my record minus a couple of traffic tickets
-I disclosed this with the bank and did not hide anything. I also typed a essay explaining the situation and I made sure I was honest and up front about everything
-I was not convicted, the charge was dismissed but the arrest record is still there. At the time I didn’t even have a bond, they just let me go at the station.
-It happened in 2016, I was 21 at the time. I just turned 30 a couple days ago
-This is my first time failing a background check, I guess it was because of the prints? I’ve disclosed this with older and my previous job and the arrest record never even popped up.
-Will this pop up after it’s officially expunged?
Yeah this kind of sucks, I accepted a job paying more, but I really wanted the bank position. It’s unreal how race plays such a huge role in situations like this. I was literally falsely arrested, but because the record is still it’s used against my character and used for the reason why they won’t hire me. It must be fun to be white and not have to worry about racial biases that can affect your entire life. Shit really sucks and I’m about to graduate with BA in psychology
