Can I Take Paypal To Court Over This?

Just feeling this has to be some kind of wrong or illegal on PayPals part. Not asking about the amount disputed or to sue for that, more so for their blatant refusal to see facts and their use of the words “thorough investigation”.

I purchased several weeks ago long stays from a dog boarder who has a seller account. Their ad had pictures of their yard from 10+ years ago showing full fencing, dog play ground, and water features for cooling in the summer. Got there to drop off and the fence was missing entire sections allowing dogs to just walk out to the highway, no water features or cooling areas and the dog playground completely gone. He also said his prices just changed the day before and I need to pay an extra $300 for the stay right then and there.

My dog doesn’t need fancy extravagant things but a fenced in yard for safety when outside with a boarder is a mandatory thing for me. I could not be confident in my dogs safety and felt scammed by these false photos posted and demand for more money based on price changes that he said just happened.

I had messaged him two days before the stay and he confirmed we were all set and that I was paid in full.

Disputed the charges after he refused to refund me. Selected “products or services different from what was advertised”

The seller responded to the disputes as they are required to, stating “Fuck you bitch your not getting a dime, you should have verified you were paid up every day leading to the stay, too bad so sad” he then even went on to comment “So what, the fence is not what is used to be and there’s no playground, does it really fucking matter, everyone uses old pics sometimes. They are only 10 years old, get over yourself you stuck up bitch”

Mind you these comments are viewable in the dispute center under the dispute information for both PayPal and myself. It’s an open chat between buyer and seller that PayPal can also see as the dispute is discussed.

The last of his comments on this thread in the dispute was, “not paying a dime back you dumb bitch. You don’t wanna get scammed don’t be stupid”

These comments were across each dispute and repeated over and over along with him telling PayPal “go fuck your-self PayPal that moneys mine good luck getting it back”

A few days later the seller send me a screen shot of his message portal on PayPal.

The PayPal agents are telling him repeatedly, “just say one time on this chat that you delivered the service as advertised and paid for and we will close the case in your favor, it’s all you have to do”

He replied to them saying “you mean you’re gonna let me keep this money? Even know I lied and posted false information to get sales? Hell yea you guys fucking rock we could make a lot of money teaming up ya know”

Followed by “I delivered the service as advertised and paid for”

A week later I got notice that PayPal found in the Sellers Favor.

They will not answer me when asked about all the evidence of his lies and his own admittance.

I don’t care about the money I care about the principal here.
