Can My Job Fire Me Due To Living In A Camper?

To make a long story short upon hiring I was told I had to live within an hour of my workplace within the first 6 months. (I currently lived 1 hour and 10 minutes.) now that my 6 months has come to an end I’m living in a camper 55 minutes away. When asked about my living situation I told them that I was staying in a camper within the hour. They now claim that that is not sufficient after my superior said that it was. When asking why they said that it’s not a “permanent residence”. I would also like to add that they have let other employees have stayed in campers much longer than 6 months while they were house shopping or building. Another thing to note is that I’m currently dealing with a back injury that happened at work, and the camper was acceptable until I had the injury. They have also extended my probation period another 3 months, and gave me two weeks to find a “permanent residency” Any advice here is greatly appreciated.
