Can My Mother Keep Me From Going To School?

I'm 14, live in turkey. I'm in the 8th grade and before highschool, i have to do an exam to get into a highschool with a point system, the higher the point the better the school. Is a hard worker but I lack motivation, my mother is a very hard worker and she has sacrificed a lot for me after my dad passed away when I was 8. We moved in with my grandparents since we couldn't do it in a foreign country without my dad, so I had to adapt to a whole new education system that was a whole lot harder. I've adapted tooth and nail to become an above average student, but I'm very bad at below average barely in math. Even though I get 100 every math exam, this exam is much harder than the regular ones. I go to a mock exam and get a not so good grade, even though the mock exams are notorious for being way harder than the real one. My mother tells me if I don't get into a good school, not only will she force me not to go to school, but she'll send me to a construction site to work there everyday. Besides all that, she says she'll abandon me to my grandparents and which my grandpa is extremely sick and my grandma barely takes care of him, and she'll go to another city to work there. Can she force me to work instead of going to school?
