Car Dealership Won't Cover Motor Mounts Under Warranty

I recently bought a used 2019 Audi from a licensed dealership in Connecticut. The car cost over $5,000, so it's covered by the state's used car warranty law (60 days/3,000 miles). I've put less than 1,000 miles on it since the purchase.
I took the car to an Audi dealership for an inspection, and they found that both front motor mounts are leaking. The Audi dealership classified the repair as "recommended" but also stated that the issue will cause more problems down the line.
I contacted the used car dealership about getting this repaired under warranty. They are refusing to cover the repair, stating:
The warranty only covers repairs necessary to make the vehicle mechanically operational.
They didn't find the issue during their initial inspection.
I should have mentioned it sooner (even though the issue arose within the warranty period and normal driving conditions).
I believe the motor mounts are essential for the car's mechanical soundness and safe operation, and the issue should be covered under CT's used car warranty law. I got a copy of the buyers guide which also comes with their dealership warranty, although I did not get info on exact coverages.
I'm considering filing a complaint with the CT Department of Consumer Protection and/or the DMV. Would this be considered an item to keep the car mechanically sound? And would this fall under the dealership warranty or CTs implied warranty? Over time this will definitely cause issues which is my worry
