Charged With 2nd Degree Disorderly Conduct After Bouncer Punched Me Multiple Times.

I was out last night on New Year’s Eve with my friend at a bar in Lexington Kentucky. My friend decides to leave I walk out with him to make sure he’s alright and makes it home safely. The bouncer pushed my friend and I stepped to him and asked him what his problem was, pushed me as well causing a verbal altercation leading to him punching me multiple times in the face. I was put in cuffs and asked if I wanted medical treatment as I was bleeding all over my face. I denied it and was taken to the station. Processed, charged with 2nd degree disorderly conduct and released on recognizance.

This was my first arrest never been in any trouble, I am a military service member. I have court on Friday, I’m not sure how to prepare for court or if there are any steps to get this case dismissed.
