Child Was Sexually Assaulted At School

Thursday my 6 year old daughter informed her mother and I that a boy in her class had tried to kiss her several times after she had told him to stop and go away. She also told us that this other child also kept touching his private parts in front of her as well. My wife emailed our child's teacher and the only response that the teacher sent back was that she'd "take care of it Friday." We never received any attempt at a call from the school.

What is the course that you would recommend we take to make sure this doesn't happen to our child again?

We are in the state of Indiana if that makes much of a difference
