To make this as short as possible, my daughters crappy father who abandon me during my pregnancy and has been trying to control me through the courts is now trying to make me change my daughters middle name. I’ve already stone walled him and accommodated everything he’s asked for. Paternity, custody, added into the last name. I’ve been so accommodating because I don’t want to fight with this prick. Today we were supposed to be finalizing everything in court and now he suddenly brings up he also has an issue with her middle name now. Great! I went through my entire pregnancy alone and heartbroken. I grew and birthed that baby on my own. I wanted to name her after my ex that had passed away 5 years ago. Beyond being my ex, he was a dear friend to me and everyone I loved. I wanted to honor him and the change he made in my life by naming my girls middle name after him. It’s a gender neutral name and it’s so cute as a middle name. My friends who were at my birth cried when I announced her name. Can he really rightfully persuade a judge to make me change her middle name? Why can’t he leave me alone and just stop trying to control every single thing. I did this all alone.
