Cleaners Ruined Our Marble Countertops

While I realize that with everything going on in the world, this is a privileged problem to have but am really just curious about our options.
We hired new cleaners and in my initial request, I specified that we have marble kitchen countertops and the only thing they can be cleaned with is water or a marble cleaner (that I leave out for them). Since they have started in November, I’ve noticed “water marks “ etching in random places. I convinced that they just need to be resealed so my husband did this. On Friday, after they left, I came downstairs to the most obvious etches/stains all over that can’t be removed. It’s almost as though they were using a lime cleaner ????
I called the cleaning company and after seeing my pictures, they agreed and would be contacting their insurance company. (They said that they have The Hartford)
I’m still waiting on a call back to see if it can even be repaired (I’ve been told yes it can AND no, etching can’t be removed). The counters cost $15k five years ago so even the cleaners insurance company agrees to pay, I’m assuming there will be a max? We are also calling our insurance on Monday.
Curious to get feedback on what our legal options might look like.
Thank you in advance!
