Collections Agency Keeps Calling

For backstory on my debt: I lived at an apartment for a few years. My downstairs neighbor would beat the hell out of my door at 3 AM making me jolt out of my bed and begin threatening me through it because he thought I was "scraping on his walls" to mess with him. Basically he was a nutcase. This happened multiple times. Called the cops on him a few times too. Told my landlord this stuff had happened more than once, but I told her I didn't want her talking with him cause he genuinely seems crazy, unpredictable, and aggressive. She said there wasn't anything she could do if she can't go tell him to stop. I ended up having to break the lease and leave, though really she broke it first. No quiet enjoyment and the place was infested with roaches. Being harrased many times with zero action on her end. I was fine with giving up the $1350 for that though, but she wanted an extra $900 for two small holes in the cheap floor. She claims they're burn holes but reality is its just where my computer chair was for a few years and the floor just fell apart underneath it.
So they sold this case to collections. I would rather not deal with courts which I'm worried will happen if I tell these collections people to cease contact. Looking for opinions on what I should do to deal with this. Would I be fine if they did take me to court with these facts on the matter? Is it likely for the agency to take me to court? I live in Oklahoma USA.
