Company Refused To Pay What They Owe Me.
I sued my former employer for fraudulent inducement, and I won by default since they didn't bother showing up to court. They were supposed to pay me a month ago, but they didn't give me any money. I've emailed them about this a couple of times, but, they've ignored me.
This company is in a different state than me, but, I figured minimum contact laws would apply, since these events took place in my state. Anyway, now I've gotta go to a payment review at the end of next month. This whole situation is ridiculous. I literally only sued them for $400. They're a big enough company to just give me my money.
Anyway, what should I do about this? Should I just wait until the payment review? Or is there something that I should do in the meantime?
