Could I Charge My Rapist Even Though Its Been Over A Year?
For context I'm 14 now but I was 13 at the time and I have no idea what to do.
This happened January 2024 in Raymond, WA. I was talking to a nice guy that I have known for a few years and thought we could be good friends even though he was 18 and I was 13, we hung out once and after that he was just genuinely really weird. Due to past trauma I have a history of talking to older men & seeking attention in them, I invited him over to my house to smoke when my parents were gone and he had brought edibles and a cart. I took a few blinkers and around 2 edibles and I was greened out.. I know I'm too young to be taking them and I had just freshly got out of juvie and on parole, from what I remember he got on top of me and I don't remember anything after that. He texted me that he had my blood on his fingers and that we did stuff but I couldn't remember, he said if I told anyone his life would be ruined and was just overall guilt tripping me. I've done my research and since its been a long time I cannot do a rapekit but I do have some evidence of texts and some other stuff. Any advice on what I could possibly do in this situation? I've discussed with my parents and they're fine with filing a report but we don't have a lawyer.
