Customer Is Getting Separated, Wants Me To Remove Hardwired Ev Charger?

I installed an EV charger at a couples home last month. The wife called & said they're separating & her lawyer advised her to remove her personal property from the home & wanted me to uninstall the charger (but not reinstall as she doesn't have a place yet).

I'm no lawyer, but I assume it's considered shared property and/or part of the home.

What should I say to her to ensure I'm covering my own butt? If I make sure the husband is fully aware & fine with me removing it & have them both sign off on its removal, is that ok? Or should I say I won't do anything until their lawyers divide assets or whatever lawyers do.
