Dad Willed Two Of Three Siblings Real Property, To Be Sold And Evenly Split Between Two Of Us. I Am One Of The Two And Also Named Executor.

Third sibling (who lived on disability and had a drug-addict spouse who never g f) is named as being able to share in the remaining estate personal and The will is in probate & sibling has unexpectedly died. The spouse is demanding an equal amount of proceeds from sale of real property, though sibling was never named an heir regarding real property.

My lawyer says spouse of sibling is entitled to 1/3 of entire estate. Is she wrong? Am I smarter than my attorney? We’re 9 months from date of dad’s death and I just want everything settled. Thoughts?
