Dealership Stating We Have To Put More Down On Car We Already Have Possession Of For 9 Days.

My girlfriend bought a car 10 days ago. Put $2000 down and financed the rest. Deal went through and she brought the car home. Today the dealership calls and asked her to come by for a minor signature. When she got there the lady tells her she needs to pay an additional $3000 for the car because the bank needed more money down. Her options were pay the $3000 now or return the car by tomorrow and not be reimbursed for the $2000 she paid down originally. She was also told that if she had waited to come in till Monday there was nothing they could have done about it. Not sure what our options are but we really need this car.
