Denied Tenant Insurance Claim
I am contracted to a company that provides me with parts to complete my work. In the contact I signed with said company, it is written that once exchanged I am responsible and the ownership of said parts. There was a situation in which my car was broken into and these parts were stolen from my car at my apartment. In my tenant insurance it is written that they will cover up to $5,000 worth of stolen or damaged business product. However, my claim was denied on the basis that since I did not pay for these parts to acquire them, they will not cover damages. I tried sending them my contract stating I owned them as well as the receipts of the monthly payments I will be making to cover damages but still denied. Can’t seem to find any lawyers to are willing to cut the loophole in between both contracts. Any advice or am I just screwed here?
