Dental Malpractice
I am wanting to see if I possibly have a case. 2 years ago I had my braces removed and while one of the employees was removing the glue residue off my teeth he accidentally exposed the nerve on one of my teeth. The orthodontist office immediately took action and sent me to a dentist nearby to make sure it wasn’t anything serious. While examining the teeth they determined that I needed a root canal due to the exposed nerve. It was painful and a bad experience on a day that I was looking forward to. That very day the general manager called me and apologized & asked what they can do to make it right. I was offered a refund which I accepted and signed a waiver that basically waives my right for further treatment because I was accepting the refund. We’ll fast forward two years and that root canal has apparently failed. I was told by the dentist that an implant was recommended and it would be around $6,000 to get that taken care of. What are my options if any?
