Divorce Advice Needed

VA state . I want to divorce my husband, however I am stay at home mom and do not have any income. I don’t have any family in the USA as well. We have 2 kids together. My husband threatened me that I will see another side of him if I’ll decide to leave with kids, meaning separation and divorce. He also physically abused me a couple times and after each argument he called me a stupid ignorant bitch and threatening me with deportation. I don’t know how to separate from him cause I have no where to go or can’t work because I don’t have work authorization. I want to leave him but I don’t know where to go and I am afraid because the reason I don’t have any income he’ll get full custody, of the kids he barely caring. Can someone help
