Divorce/separation? 86 Yo Mom

Mom 86yo, her husband 64 yo, married 30+years, left Ohio Saturday 1/4/25 and is in Florida. He took their only car(in his name) and his inheritance ($90,000) from 11/24. He is on SSDI. Their trailer is in both names, no other assets. Her only income is her very low SSI and a little bit more because of his SSDI. They lost their house in the last few years because of his mental instability, hospitalized numerous times for being suicidal. What are the next steps? Does she file for divorce/separation? How does this work since he left for Florida? I need to help her figure out her options. Thanks in advance.
