Drove Into A Fence, Totaled My Car And Cops Say I Fled The Scene What Should I Do?

As title says, i was driving home after a night of drinking, spend the night at a buddies house and in the morning feeling a tiny bit groggy, but well over 10 hours after my last drink. Google maps tells me to turn Right onto the freeway, unfortunately the road is a dirt road and never really turns or anything, “straight” is a winding road that eventually merges onto a main road that then will turn onto the freeway yk. Siri says in .3 of a mile turn right and while im messing with my car play, going maybe 15-20mph I look up to notice that the road in fact turns left and then right. I slam on my breaks and end up running over a maybe 5ft tall chain link fence post. I had two buddies behind me who saw the whole thing and we get out and evaluate.

Long story short, cars totaled, gas line and transmission is messed up, and a cop shows up. He never walked even near the car but rather spoke to us from about 40ft away, my friends talked to him, saying i was driving and what happened, i was on the phone with my family and they were trying to get ahold of a tow truck and getting stuff together to come grab me.

The cop ends up driving off saying to be safe, and says that the Highway Patrol “knows what happened” and nothing more. I take this as Highway patrol is on its way and stand around for a bit, maybe 20 minutes and by the time my family comes by still no cops so we just take that as no one else is coming, we talked to a cop, and my car is still here so we just go home. Once i get home the adrenaline wears off and im in absolute agony, my partner is worried sick for me so she comes over and gives me a ride to her place, im covered in muck and sweaty from the night so i go to take a shower and when i come back shes passed out again so i go back to bed.

I wake up an hour or so later, only to find that my phone and her phone are absolutely blown up with calls from family saying the cops came to our house and they’re trying to find me to arrest me for

1. Fleeing an active crime scene
2. Drinking and driving
3. Evading police
4. Destruction of Property

I have never been in legal trouble before, the first ever fender bender i got myself into i was so frazzled i forgot to take any photos of the crash site, so the second i caught wind of this i immediately called the office and asked what to do and all they told me was that my car had been towed and where its impounded and that was all they were the ones who ended the call and everything so i guess it was all squared out, but now I’m catching wind of my family being lied to by the cops, them trying to trip up my dad saying that when the cop got to the scene my mom was the one he talked to (she was home at the time) and that he smelled alcohol on my breath (he never even came within like 50ft of me). No breathalyzer test was done, no documentation was taken nothing, but when i did get to my car at the tow yard, all of my documents, my glove box, the manual to my car, everything was thrown around, def the result of someone pilfering through my stuff to maybe find my house or whatever.

What should i expect in the coming days/weeks? I feel like if they were actually upset they would have been by my house again by now, or at least having some sort of message out to me yk? Any help is appreciated.
