Dui/crash Arrest?

Hello everyone. This past weekend my father was responsible for a car accident including two other cars. The other passengers have a few cuts and bruises but no major injuries. My dad was not given a sobriety test/breathalyzer at the scene because he had sustained a head injury and had to be taken to the hospital immediately. They took his BAC at the hospital and it was significantly over the legal limit. He is home now recovering. My question is, are the police going to come to his home and arrest him? He was clearly intoxicated and hit other cars. I’m assuming the hospital sent his bac results to the police. I am just unsure of what to expect in the coming days.
